“Good thing you realize that now,” Ivor said as he checked the time, “It’s getting late. We should clear the air with the Nidhoggs’ leader as soon as possible.”

Floyd nodded. “You got it, Mr. Ivor.”

Yasmine overheard everything. She pursed her lips and muttered, “So, Mr. Ivor thinks I’m nothing but a troublemaker. I might’ve yelled loudly on purpose earlier, but he didn’t have to say all that about me.

“Hmph, does he honestly think I’m helpless just because he refused to bring me along? That doesn’t matter because I can always go by myself.”

She took her phone and secretly called for a cab. Then, she told the driver to follow Ivor’s car.

Meanwhile, Ivor looked at the rearview mirror and noticed the cab following them. He frowned and asked, “Floyd, is that cab tailing us?”

Floyd frowned and saw the cab before saying, “That car is a common cab in Yale, Mr. Ivor. It’s probably just using the same streets as us to get to its location. I don’t think it’s following us.”

Still, Ivor could not help but think something was amiss. “Keep your eyes on it. If something doesn’t seem right, shake it off immediately.”

Floyd nodded. “Understood, Mr. Ivor.”

“Right away, sir.” Floyd stepped on it.

Simultaneously, Yasmine had already hopped into another car and continued to trail the duo.

Ivor was sharp and perceptive. If anyone else had tried to pull that stunt, he would have immediately caught them. Even so, Yasmine knew him too well and was knowledgeable about how his mind worked. That was why she successfully tailed him while remaining undetected.
