Before Ivor could exit the car, one of Bonnie’s men recognized it. The latter hurried to her room and told her about it, “Chief, the Dark Knights’ leader is here. What are your orders?”

“He’s here already?” Bonnie raised her brow. “Don’t interfere, and let them find their way in.”

Collin, standing beside her, was confused. “I thought you called him and gave him a piece of your mind, Chief. Why are you letting him in?”

He could not understand Bonnie’s actions. If she wanted to see Ivor, it would render her previous phone call pointless.

“Do you honestly not understand why I’m doing this?” Bonnie knew Collin was smart and fully expected him to understand her actions.

He scratched his head and thought about it. Still, he needed clarification. “I-I still don’t get it, Chief.”

She flicked the side of his head and questioned, “How are you so dumb?”

He palmed his head and yelped, saying, “I know I’m dumb, but you didn’t have to do that. Don’t you think I’ll become dumber if you keep flicking my head?”

Bonnie could not help but laugh. “What a surprise. It looks like you know your place, after all.”

Collin rubbed the side of his head and said, “Stop making fun of me, Chief. Just explain why you’re letting the Dark Knights’ leader in. I want to learn from you.”

Bonnie said, “I have two reasons for calling their leader and questioning him about breaching our agreement. Firstly, I did it to remind them how much I hate those who break their promises. Secondly, I want to use this opportunity to show him his recklessness has repercussions.

Although everyone in the room was a member of the Nidhoggs, Collin was the only one who knew that Bonnie was also Bonita. Still, there could be another traitor like Falcon in the room. That was why Collin needed to keep that sensitive information a secret.

‘Thank goodness the chief stopped me in time, or I would’ve made a massive mistake.’

Bonnie said sternly, “Just be more cautious next time. You can’t mention such things so openly, even though everyone in this room is one of ours. Do you understand?”

Collin understood the magnitude of the situation. He nodded and said gingerly, “Loud and clear, Chief.”

Soon after, one of Bonnie’s men brought Ivor and Floyd into the room. She casually sipped her tea and asked, “To what do I owe the pleasure, gentlemen? Are you here to discuss something important?”
