Frank's assistant responded quickly, "Mr. Parker called, saying he had something to do today and might not come over."

"All right, I see." Harper nodded and entered her office.

She didn't intend to ask why Frank didn't come to the office. She already had a guess.

Harper walked to the desk and sat down. Sophia came in holding the documents. "Ms. Mitchell, this is the information I compiled yesterday."

"Okay. Put it down. I'll look at it later."

Sophia nodded but didn't leave. She looked at Harper, hesitating to speak.

Harper looked at her and asked calmly, "Anything else?"

"Ms. Mitchell, I'm a little curious..."

"You're free to ask," said Harper.

"Can I ask?"

"This is your only chance," Harper said.

Hearing her words, Sophia immediately asked, "Ms. Mitchell, are you and Mr. Martin married?"

Harper stared at Sophia's curious face and replied, "Could the marriage license be fake? Would the Martin Group make a false announcement?"

"So, it's true. You two are such a perfect match." Sophia blinked with excitement on her face. She continued, "Ms. Mitchell, was it because of you that Mr. Martin and Mr. Parker fought last time?"

"No," Harper answered.

"How is that possible? It must be. People from the company have always thought you would be with Mr. Parker."

Sophia accidentally told the truth.

Harper glanced at her and began to review the documents. She said in an emotionless tone, "People from the company? Isn't that what you think?"

"I heard Mr. Hastings say that Mr. Martin planned to have a child, so he made his marriage public. Maybe Harper is already pregnant, and they went public with their marriage to pave the way for the birth of their child."

"I feel the same way. After all, it will be the first child of the Martin family. Although the Martin family is way out of Harper's league, she will have a more stable status after giving birth to a child. From now on, we must respect her more when we see her.
