Chapter 287 Too Tired

Harper didn't say a word.

Benjamin didn't leave either, whispering, "Harper, give me a response. Okay?"

She was still silent.

He reached out and lifted the covers straight up to hold her face. "Did you hear what I said?"

"I know. Benjamin, you're so annoying. Leave quickly. It's annoying!"

She was a little pissed off.

Benjamin smiled, re-covered her, and got up to leave the bedroom.

It was only after hearing the faint sound of the door closing that Harper completely fell asleep on her pillow.

She slept soundly and long this time, until seven o'clock the next morning.

Harper opened her eyes and stretched, lying still. She wasn't in any physical discomfort, just a little tired.

Harper nodded and didn't say anything else. She just told him not to push himself when he was tired and that the company didn't have much going on these days so that he could rest more.

Harper worked on her drawings all day. As Benjamin was on a business trip, she didn't need to go to the Martin Group, so she could just hand them over to Charlie.

When she came home at night, the house was empty. There had been another person, but she was alone at the moment.

Angie had left after preparing the meals, which were more than enough to fill her up.

It was obviously all her favorite dishes, but Harper didn't have much of an appetite.
