Frank's eyes paused, not answering, and instead asked, "What's the matter?"

Harper stared at him, asking lightly, "Nothing, just curious, how come you have this kind of hat?"

He said, "It was bought by Michelle. She insisted that I wear it. I didn't want to upset her, so I just left it in the car."

"Mm."

"Is there something wrong with this hat?" Frank asked casually, staring at Harper.

Harper just smiled faintly, "No problem, just felt it didn't quite suit you, so I was curious."

"I also feel it doesn't suit me," he echoed Harper's words.

The atmosphere quieted briefly, and Frank changed the subject, "Harper, take this food back home. If he asks, just say you bought it online, to save you from any awkwardness."

Harper understood his meaning, just smiled faintly and said, "It's okay, this is your thoughtfulness, why find some unreal excuses?"

Frank said, "I'm just afraid of causing you trouble."

"It will not."

"Well, then you hurry back, it's getting late, and I still have to accompany Michelle to see a psychologist, because she's been a bit resistant, so I can only arrange for her to meet as friends."

Harper just nodded, "Okay, thank you."

Frank smiled faintly and then watched Harper get into the car before he himself got in.

But his gentle, handsome face soon became expressionless.

Similarly, there was a change in Harper.

Her mind was full of the hat from Frank's trunk, her heart in turmoil and gloom.

As soon as she got back to the apartment, Harper went to find Curtis. "Can you send me the video from last night? I want to take another look."

Curtis immediately sent it to her.

Harper watched it carefully several times but still felt it was exactly the same.

Harper glanced at the time, and it was still a while before his usual work hours, so why go to the office so early?

Harper had doubts but didn't bother to call and ask him specifically.

After breakfast, Harper went across the street, planning to tell her grandmother, but the caregiver said, "Mrs. Eleanor's still resting, you come back and keep her company later."

Harper nodded and couldn't help but smile. "Grandma slept in today."

"Probably she stayed up late reading last night, but she's already had breakfast. She said she wants to catch up on sleep."

Harper didn't think too much and then went to the company.

But she had no idea that her grandmother wasn't sleeping but had gone to the hospital with Benjamin.

Today was the day for her grandmother's physical examination, which had been scheduled for more than a week. It was originally planned for the days when the Mitchell family had problems, but it had been delayed until now because Dr. Gene had other matters to attend to.

Benjamin accompanied her to the hospital, with Dr. Gene personally conducting the examination throughout.

The entire examination process took over an hour, and after it was over, her grandmother was exhausted.
