Dr. Gene arranged for a nurse to accompany Mrs. Eleanor to his office to rest, and then he and Benjamin went to the balcony outside the examination room.

Benjamin asked, "How's it?"

Dr. Gene asked, "Benjamin, do you want to discuss this with Harper? After all, Grandma is important to her. It wouldn't be good to hide it from her."

"Grandma asked me to accompany her to the hospital precisely because she didn't want Harper to know." Besides, Harper was currently pregnant.

If Harper found out, her emotions would be affected, which wouldn't be good.

Benjamin sighed, saying lightly, "Does Grandma know about her health condition?"

Benjamin nodded, then said, "I'll talk to Grandma before making a decision."

Benjamin's voice was hoarse as he said, "Saying this will only make Harper sad. You should know what you mean to her. In her heart, you are the most important person. She wants you to be healthy, so we should cooperate with the treatment, listen to Dr. Gene's arrangements, and have the surgery. After the child is born, you'll still need to take care of them!"

Mrs. Eleanor's smile remained unchanged, but she waved her hand in refusal.

"I don't want surgery. At my age, changing hearts won't do much. Let's just go with the flow. As for Harper, don't say anything. Pretend you don't know anything, at least until after she gives birth."

"Grandma, if you keep this from Harper, and she finds out, I'm afraid I won't have a good time. She'll probably hate me to death."
