“That only you would treat that trash like treasure, Ellis cut Victoria off. She then continued in a tone that sounded like she was speaking for Victoria’s own good, “So happy for getting the trash someone despises?”

“Speaking of this, he’s the trash you abandoned, and the treasure I love.”

“If he loves you so much, why did he marry me? When you came back, why didn’t he immediately ask me for a divorce? Look at you, you’re not even Mrs. Hudson yet.”

“You were just bragging about how Easton spent a billion to save you when we were kidnapped. If I had died, Easton wouldn’t have cared. But have you ever considered something?
