Chapter 431 Are You Upset?
Finished
Unexpectedly, Ellis wasn’t the least bit angry. In fact, she seemed entirely accustomed to Easton’s presence. As usual, she shot him a cold glance and then completely ignored him.
The treatment Easton disliked the most from Ellis was being overlooked. It made him feel uncomfortable and uneasy.
“Ellis.”
“Honey”
Easton tried calling her three times in succession. The last one was clearly a challenge to her limits. Ellis snapped, “Are you calling my soul? Show some respect. I’m not your wife. If you call me ‘honey‘ again, I’ll silence you!”
To her surprise, as soon as she finished speaking, Easton’s face brightened with a trace of pleasure.
She was speechless.
Why does it feel like Easton is becoming more childish? Is he really trying to gross me out just to get my attention and force me to acknowledge him?
As Ellis had partially anticipated, Easton used those names in part to make her notice him, to stop treating him like air.
He fought to suppress the smile tugging at his lips. “Are you upset? Upset that I’m living in the same place as you?”
“Do you even deserve for me to be upset? Ellis turned her face slightly away. “You’re not that important! Remember to take your medicine, and don’t lose your mind thinking that you matter to me, or that you can affect me anytime.”
Then why did you move? Wasn’t it because you didn’t want to live with me?”
“Stop overthinking! I moved to save time on commuting”
Even though her decision to move had something to do with Easton, Ellis would never admit it in front of him.
She had figured out the psychology of people like Easton–those who were shameless. She knew that paying attention to him, looking him directly in the eye, was something that pleased him.
Just like the old her.
Right now, it wasn’t just that she understood his psychology. She was someone who had experienced it firsthand.
Seeing him now was no different from seeing herself.
No one knew how terrified she had been when she loved him, afraid that he would stop caring about her.
As soon as he ignored her, she would panic, doing everything in her power to make him notice her, even if it meant accepting any response, good or bad. Just having some response would ease her anxiety.
Tim glad you’re not angry,” Easton said, moving a little closer to Ellis.
“Whether Im angry or not is none of your business!” Ellis stepped back in distaste, irritated by Easton’s proximity. “Stay away from me.”

“Are you a gum? Do you have to stick to me like this to be satisfied?
“Didn’t you used to stick to me too? Why is it okay when you do it, but not when I do?” Easton blurted out, realizing a second too late that mentioning the past was something Ellis didn’t like.
Chapter 431 Are You Upset?
She knew she was being inconsistent, but everyone was in some way.
No one could treat themselves and others the same.
She had been foolish in the past, blindly loving Easton, but she did get what she deserved.
What a dmn sembag! Always mentioning things he shouldn’t, deliberately trying to provoke me!
“Sorry.” Easton quickly apologized. “Ill be more careful next time.”

“You said that last time too?” Ellis wanted to scream at him, but considering they were in a public space, she had to maintain her composure. “If you do it again. I’ll really shut you up!”
“Feel free to try.” Easton said, smiling. He didn’t believe she would act on her words, secretly hoping she might come to him.
Ellis was so furious she could feel steam rising from her head. “Stop with your weird behavior! If you keep acting like this, I’ll just assume you’ve fallen for me. You can’t live without me, can you?”
