Chapter 442 A Rival’s Rescue
Another man appeared. Ellis was utterly confused.
She thought to herself, which man should I choose?
Finished
Her head felt like it would explode. The emptiness and heat controlled her body. She lay back on the bed in discomfort.
She continued her thought, it doesn’t matter who, as long as someone give me what I need. I can’t take it anymore.
As Easton approached, he saw something was wrong with Ellis. Her eyes were unfocused. She looked delirious. He placed his hand on her forehead to check her temperature. His palm felt scorched the moment he touched her skin. Her temperature was frighteningly high! This wasn’t normal. His face darkened. He shot a cold look at Maxwell and asked, “What did you give
her?”
Maxwell remembered how Easton had almost tripped him earlier. He stepped closer to the bed, now nearer to Ellis than Easton was. He could reach her with a stretch of his hand.
I didn’t give her anything,” he said, pulling out his phone. Til call 911.”
Easton glanced at the distance between Maxwell and Ellis. His expression grew darker.
“She doesn’t need 911” he said.
With that, Easton opened his arms and carefully touched the girl.
He lifted her up and gave Maxwell another cold look. “You don’t need to handle this.”
“Where are you taking her?” Maxwell asked, putting away his phone and blocking Easton’s path.
“You have no right to question me,” Easton said, his lips pressed in displeasure.
He knew Ellis hadn’t liked other men and had focused on work at Fox Group. Still, she spent every day with Maxwell. Maxwell was impressive, and Easton worried she might be drawn to him.

“Speaking of rights, Mr. Hudson, you’re Ms. Harper’s ex–husband, and I’m her boss. You have more right than I do based on your status. However. Maxwell paused. “Ms. Harper accompanied me to the banquet. I have a duty to ensure her safety.”
“You don’t need to ensure anything.” Easton said coldly, then strode past Maxwell
chily. “Are y
“Mr. Hudson!” Maxwell raised his voice slightly. Are you taking Ms. Harper to the hospital?”
“Mind your own business!” Easton left a warning and didn’t look back.
In his arms, Ellis urgently needed a man to relieve her emptiness and heat. She rubbed against his chest unconsciously and murmured. “I I want it, give. give it to me.”
She wasn’t just rubbing her head against him, her whole upper body pressed into him. The soft sensation overwhelmed Easton, who hadn’t been intimate in a long time. He nearly surrendered, wanting to release all his energy on her.
But her collar had shifted, revealing a view, not only had he seen it, but Maxwell had too. His jealousy and anger spiked. He wanted to gouge out Maxwell’s eyes
He thought to himself, if I had come later, with Ellis in this state, she wouldn’t have known who the man was. She would have cooperated fully to satify herself. Was it Marwell who caused this?
He adjusted her collar, resisting the pleasure of her embrace, and suppressed his body’s reaction. With a grim face, he ondered his subordinates, “Before midnight, I want to know what happened”
Yes. Mr. Hudson,” they replied

Then he remembered how she had resisted and loathed him, and how she had slapped him last time, thinking he took advantage of her. He held back the urge.
