That scumbag actually tried drug me and pull such disgusting crap? I’m gonna kick him so hard he’d never be a man again. Just as she lunged at him with a sudden kick, Easton dodged quickly.
Ellis was so sure she was faster than Easton, but when he stepped aside, her momentum got the best of her. She lost control of her balance and was about to fall. She could already imagine how badly it was going to hurt.
But the pain never came, because Easton caught her.
To Ellis, Easton felt like a walking virus–worse, like he’d been soaked in piles of garbage. She wriggled out of his arms and started punching him.
To be fair, she was obedient. He told her not to hit his chest, and she really didn’t. Easton just stood there, letting her vent. He figured once she was done, he’d show her the proof, just to clear his name.
He already knew Ellis never worried about him fighting back; she knew he’d put up with her.
She finally stopped after landing quite a few punches, pulling back her fists reluctantly. She glared at him and threatened, “You rotten cucumber. I swear I’ll get you locked up!”
“Are you done?” Easton stretched lazily. “Let me show you the evidence.
“You son of a–faking evidence now?” Ellis didn’t trust a guy like Easton. She was sure he was just trying to shift the blame. “Do you seriously have nothing better to do than harass me all day? Aren’t you sick of it?”
“I didn’t fake anything!” Easton grabbed the tablet from the nightstand and played the hotel surveillance footage, along with a video of Mike and Jimmy admitting everything under his men’s watch
Even after watching it all, Ellis continued glaring at him like he was the worst kind of scum
Sure, he didn’t drug her. But he did sleep with her while she was vulnerable… That much was still true.
Just the thought of sharing a man with Victoria made her stomach churn. Unable to suppress the nausea, she dry–heaved a few times.
It wasn’t the first time he’d seen her throw up, but Easton still worried. He gently patted her back to soothe her discomfort. “Why are you throwing up again?” He looked her up and down. “Do you have stomach problems? Did you get it checked out?”
The moment Easton touched her, her nausea intensified. Ellis’s expression darkened as she smacked his hand away, snapping, “You’re the one with stomach problems! I throw up just looking at you!”
Concern turned into disappointment. Easton’s expression fell. “Am I really that unbearable to you?”
“Duh!” Ellis turned away, refusing to look at him. “You’re used goods! I hate used goods the most!”
Easton felt like he’d never escape those stupid nicknames in this lifetime.
Rotten cucumber. Scumbag Used goods. He used to not care, but now? Now it stung.
Sure, he’d been engaged to Victoria once, but the engagement had been called off. How did that make him used goods!
He frowned. “I’m a person, not an object–Don’t call me ‘used goods. That’s not even accurate.
Elis turned around and gave him a contemptuous look.
“Oh really” Then who’s the used goods?” She scoffed coldly. “Just thinking about how I slept with someone Victoria had already used makes me want to puke I want to stab both of you!”
Easton had no intention of arguing with her, but the words “used by Victoria” hit a nerve. His face darkened as he clenched has jaw. “Yes, I was engaged to her. But it was a business arrangement. How does that make me=”
“I don’t care. I’m disgusted that you slept with Victoria and then came to sleep with me!” The more she said it, the more
