Ken knocked before entering the office. He placed the signed documents on his desk. 

“Mr. Ramona has signed the paper, but he has one condition. He wants you to hand over the evidence against the shareholders to him.” 

Orion’s already cold expression grew even more distant. 

“Give it to him. But has everything else been arranged?” 

Orion wasn’t the slightest bit worried about handing over the evidence or that Ramona might destroy it. 

This was all part of a larger plan; these people weren’t his true concern. 

Ken nodded and said, “Yes, foreign investors have started reaching out to them.” 

Orion’s gaze remained impassive as he turned away. 

“Be careful. We don’t want anyone to catch on.” 

Ken nodded, hesitating for a moment. “Mrs. Dros and Ms. Dros are still here. They want to see you.” 

Orion’s expression remained cold. He furrowed his brows slightly, his voice sharp and icy. 

“I won’t see them.” 

The scene from the meeting had drained any remaining affection he might have had for them. 

A mother publicly chastising her son and trying to bring him down at every turn. 

What was the purpose of having such a family? 

The familial bond felt superficial and unreasonable, and their level of consideration was significantly lower than that of his subordinates. 

Ken couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for Orion. 

The office felt eerily quiet. 

Orion walked over and sat down at his desk, his fingers flipping through the papers. After confirming there were no issues, he tossed them back to Ken. 

“Announce the personnel changes through HR and send it online. The era of Ramona has come to an end.” 

Ken responded immediately, “Understood.” 

Orion hadn’t wanted to take such a drastic step, but if he didn’t, Ramona would continue targeting the Crosses and Seraphina. 

The creepy ideas Ramona had once suggested still made him shudder.

Justin was peeling an apple for Sarah, while Sarah and Seraphina lounged on the sofa, watching gossip news.
