Elian, keeping his eyes on the road, replied, "I think I have a pretty good idea."

Elian nodded. "It's Sebastian's sister, right?"

Sensing Miranda's surprise, Elian elaborated, "I know Sebastian has a sister, around thirteen or fourteen years old now. But she disappeared from the public eye about ten years ago. The official story is that she's been ill, recuperating overseas."
