Willow let out an exasperated chuckle.

Julian was absolutely shameless. He followed her out of the car, tong her that he was hungry and he wanted her to make him something. Naturally, she wouldn’t do it. So, he showed himself to the cramped apartment and said that he wanted to see Snowy

Julian was so clingy that Willow couldn’t have shaken him off, ever if she had wanted to. She went straight to her room, leaving him to pour his heart out to the dog.

Julian acted as if he were at home. After he gave Snowy its drinking water, he fed it some snacks as well. Then, he headed to the kitchen and made himself some supper. He was actually hungry because he had just gotten back from his trip outstation.

Snowy twirled around his long legs as it barked in excitement, its eyes brimming with fondness.

It had been over 20 hours since Julian had slept, but he still bathed Snowy with his own hands. When it was time to sleep, the dog lay on top of him as they both slept on the couch in the living room.

The night was dark, and the airconditioner gave out a steady hum as it chilled the room. Willow came out for a drink of water in the middle of the night. She guessed correctly that Julian didn’t leave.

She got to thinking if she should’ve stayed at Heather’s place. After all, he couldn’t possibly harass her there.

After Willow gulped down a glass of water, she walked past Julian. Underneath the dim light, she could see him lying on his back. Snowy curled up to the side of his head and snuggled up to him in its sleep. It even curled its tail around his neck.

The way Willow saw it, Snowy had betrayed her.

She

ended to sneak back into her bedroom, but she was grabbed by a pair of strong arms. The next thing she knew, she fell into Julian’s embrace.

Willow struggled fiercely, but Julian held her arms and clasped her fingers. He was undoubtedly stronger than she was.

The darkness made his eyes look even deeper. As he gulped, he exuded this strong sense of masculinity. Then, he arched and kissed her affectionately as she looked at him.

The moon’s gentle light quietly shone into the apartment, illuminating the wall. Willow and Julian’s silhouettes overlapped in the wildest and most tantalizing manner.

After their passionate moment, Julian still wanted to go for another round. He had been abstaining for a while now. It was only normal that he wanted to do it again.

However, Willow didn’t want it anymore. She made him leave, her voice was raspy when she spoke.

Julian was extraordinarily patient with her. Leaning into her ear, he said tenderly, You wrapped your arms around my neck when you wanted it, and yet you kick me out when you’re done satisfying your lust. What a

Willow was undeterred. She kicked him and asked him to leave.

Julian was aware that she had to work through whatever was roiling in her heart. So, he didn’t overstay his welcome. As he rose to his feet, he said thoughtfully, I’ll leave you to your own rumination and come over tomorrow.

Willow didn’t respond to him. About half an hour after Julian left, she hopped into the showers, washing away remnants of her earlier passionate moment. Then, she got herself a can of beer and went to the rooftop.

The wind howled at dawn.

Willow lit a cigarette and put it on the gray railing. Sipping the beer, she thought about Julian and herself as well as the impulsive and steamy moment they had just shared.
