Julian remained standing in the restaurant. He was dressed elegantly, but he had never felt this miserable before. Taking the pink diamond ring out of the wine glass, he wiped it dry with a white napkin.

He could still vividly remember the resolution on Willow’s face when she took the ring off and the thorough disappointment in

her eyes.

The pictures he had taken with Alicia were sprawled across the table, featuring Saint Sofea Grand Cathedral, Corealia National Tower, and Saint Lordamere’s Basilica. These were all precious memories from his youthful love.

Years had passed since then, the fact was that Julian had forgotten about most of it. However, Willow cared about it a lot. She was furious, anguished, and heartbroken. She wanted to leave and never see him again.

What was worse, tonight was her birthday, and he’d intended to get back together with her.

It was deep in the night by the time Julian returned to Grandview Manor. When Blair saw him, she was obviously being evasive. Standing at the door, he unbuttoned his suit and asked nonchalantly, “Did Willow drop by?”
