Willow didn’t like Julian anymore.
He just couldn’t understand it. Since when had he lost Willow’s love and adoration?

Three days later, in Julian’s office at Nebula Group, it was obvious that he was in quite a terrible mood. There were a bunch of court summons on his office desk. Willow was the prosecutor. She wanted the court to grant her a divorce and to split up their common marriage properties and assets.
Julian leaned back on his couch, one leg crossed over the other, as he held the summons in his hand. He then asked Esther, standing next to him, “Has she contacted a lawyer?”
Esther answered truthfully. “She hired Mr. Zachary Lawless, the most famous and capable divorce lawyer in the field. If he agrees to take her up on her case, I’m afraid that Mr. Gibson won’t be able to win the case for you.”
Julian glanced at her and said softly, “Who said I was going to court with Willow? That’s just her wish. I do not plan on getting a
divorce with her.”
Esther was stunned. “What?”
Julian then placed the summon on the table and tapped on it with his long, slender fingers. The warm sunset glow cast a few rays of sunlight onto his face and reflected in his eyes, making him look like he’d just come out of a picture.
A short while later, he said, “Contact Mr. Lawless and tell him that I’d like to treat him to dinner. Also, spread the word that…”
Esther was taken aback when she heard Julian’s wishes.
Julian was finally serious about things. Esther was also a woman, after all, and she’d always pitied Willow for putting in so much
of her effort without getting anything in return.
But now, with Julian’s interference, Zachary returned Willow’s deposit and refused to take up her case anymore. He even called
her up apologetically and offered to treat her to dinner instead.
Willow turned him down on his offer. It wasn’t because she was mad at him, but rather, she was too busy to accept it.
She told Annie to contact another lawyer instead.
Annie held a napkin to her nose and said in a nasal voice, “None of the lawyers in the whole of Brindley is willing to take up our
case. Ms. Harper, I think that Mr. Ziegler definitely had a role to play in this. Nobody else would have such power and influence
over them.”
Willow just smiled bitterly.
It seemed that Julian was hell–bent on making things hard for her.
