Nathael’s words left Ronald deep in thought, clearly planning something.

Olivia took charge of cooking dinner with the help of the servants, and they prepared a special meal.

“Has Mary always treated you like this?” Nathael asked, forcing himself to look away and speaking in a low voice as they walked together.

Maggie paused, perhaps surprised by the question.

“It’s usually not this bad. It’s mostly teasing, but today she lost too much money, so she needed someone to vent her anger on, Maggie explained softly.

“Ronald will definitely ask you about taking out a mortgage loan, right?”

“He will, and I’ll transfer the assets to your name when the time comes,” Nathael assured her confidently.

Maggie couldn’t help but laugh. “Mr. Harris, are you trying to please me for some secret reason?”

Nathael gently tapped her forehead. “Wasn’t it your plan to become the owner of the Camerons” assets one day?”

Maggie was surprised for a moment, remembering the joke she and Diana Spencer had made not long ago. She didn’t expect Nathael to take it seriously.
