Maggie met Sierra’s gaze when she entered the dressing room.

Sierra observed Maggie’s face and she noticed a faint blush. Her lipstick was smudged and her hair was a

little messy.

Sierra gripped her phone tightly and forced herself to look away.

Maggie noticed Sierra’s gaze but she remained silent. She suspected that Sierra was behind the report.

She needed evidence before jumping to conclusions.

“Maggie, let me touch up your makeup.

Maggie averted her gaze and lowered her eyes to collect her thoughts.

The three individuals from the First Institute who got into the next round were Maggie, Sierra, and Grace. Grace had already performed and was now waiting for her results.

Maggie was up next. There was only about ten minutes left before her performance.

“Maggie! Do you know anyone from the Harris Group?” Grace, who was scrolling her phone, asked.

She was looking at the competition–related topics.

The Harris Group’s official Twitter account was trending because they had just posted something. That was why Grace stumbled upon it.

Maggie was stunned.

“See, the Harris Group’s official Twitter account retweeted for you.”

Grace showed Maggie her phone.

Maggie was shocked.

“Harris Group Official Twitter – The stars will shine for you!

The attached picture was a high–definition photo from Maggie’s last competition

Maggie was at a loss for words. She was a little annoyed by the tweet.

Maggie didn’t know why did she feel upset.

Maggie scoffed at herself.

No matter how much she ignored those feelings and thoughts, it would come back to her as if it was engraved in her bones.

In a moment, various companies under the Harris Group also retweeted the Twitter post.

Even Nathael’s mother liked the post.

Then, Maggie noticed that Nathael who had never posted anything on his account, posted a tweet for the first time. The wind and rain is gentle tonight. I’m in love with someone gentle too.

However, Maggie or Nathael didn’t want her to advertise for the Camerons or Luster Corporation.

There was a knock on the door as they were chatting. “Is Ms. Adam here?”

Danielle opened the door and saw a male butler who was well–dressed.

“Mrs. Harris asked me to deliver this set of jewelry to you. She likes you a lot and wishes you success in the competition.”

The butler asked the servant beside him to present the jewelry to Maggie.

Maggie shocked. It must be Nathael.

Clara was nice to Maggie in this life.

Grace and Danielle were intrigued when the butler opened the box.

It was a necklace and matching carrings that were made of conch pearls. There were seven pearls on the necklace and the feather–shaped earrings were adorned with diamonds and pearls. The design was chic and elegant.

In comparison, the pearl necklace provided by the Camerons looked rough and boring.

Upon hearing this, Maggie expressed her sincere gratitude and called Ronald to explain the situation.

Ronald kept quiet momentarily as he was upset. However, he couldn’t afford to offend Clara now.

Clara was someone influential in their circle.

“You have to respect her since she fancied you. I’ll speak to Sierra later. She has a strong following now, so there may be unexpected results.”

Ronald was still unaware of the official announcement from the Harrises. He thought of promoting Sierra, whose popularity and fan base surpassed Maggie. It was better to suck up to the Harrises instead.

Shortly after Maggie hung up the phone, Sierra’s phone rang.

“I understand, Dad, don’t worry,” Sierra said while she glared at Maggie with resentment.

Why Maggie don’t have to wear these flashy and tacky pieces, while I was forced to wear them?
