Chapter 299 I’m Innocent

He had also prepared other food for her.

However, she didn’t have any appetite to cat. She only ate a little and watched Nathael eat the rest.

He’s so handsome. It feels nice to be intimate with him.

Here closer to each other now.

Nathael carried Maggie back to the bed. ‘I’ll make some soup for you later.”

Maggie didn’t want to lie on the bed anymore.

Nathael brought her to sunbathe in the living room. “You seem to have lost weight,” he said while hugging

her.

“Really?” Maggie was in disbelief that she had lost weight in just two days.

Nathael kissed her hair and regretted it. “I shouldn’t have touched you yesterday.”

She still hadn’t rested properly after the incident, but he still lost control.

Maggie turned and wrapped her arms around her neck. She whispered seductively, “But opportunities like

this don’t come twice.”

Nathael’s eyes darkened as he kissed her neck. “Don’t tempt me. You know I can’t resist you.”

Maggie was happy to hear that. “But you rejected me last time.”

“And I regret it.”

At night, Maggie was still in bed because of her fever. So, Nathael brought his work into the bedroom.

Listening to the subtle rustle of paper, Maggie slept soundly.

Nathael had been watching over her, but the medicine didn’t work well. Maggie’s temperature rose to 102.2 Fahrenheit late at night.

Nathael immediately took her to the hospital and called Leslie.

Leslie was wearing a grey turtleneck under his white coat. He looked tired because he had been working hard for the whole day.

He looked at Maggie’s data and frowned. “It’s weird. Maybe it’s due to the fever. Let’s observe first.”

Soon, Maggie was put on an IV drip. She was so tired that she couldn’t keep her eyes open, but she was nervous when Nathael brought Leslie over. She was afraid that he would notice something was wrong.

The room was quiet after Leslie left. Maggie glared at Nathael. “You’ve embarrassed me!”

Nathael felt better when he saw her be active again.

He reached out and pinched her face. “I can make up to you by offering myself. Or, would you like to be on top next time?”

Maggie looked at him in disbelief. He’s irritating!

What the hell?

He has no shame!

Maggie blushed and covered her ears. “Your mind is filled with dirty thoughts!”

Nathael adjusted the pillow behind her and checked the IV drip. Then, he said mischievously, “You’re the one who taught me to be bad.”

“I didn’t know any of this before,” he added while looking at her innocently.
