In the next moment, a strong hand halted his movement. The man’s fingers were long and clean.
Seeing that, the male escort furrowed his brow and attempted to break free.
However, he discovered that, despite his efforts, he couldn’t budge an inch. “Sir, who are you?”
“All of you, leave.” Nathael fixed his gaze on Maggie with his dark eyes, his voice cold and commanding.
The male escort hesitated as he met Nathael’s profound and enigmatic eyes. Realizing that Maggie and Mia had no desire to ask them to stay, he rose and departed in disappointment
Maggie never dared to glance back. She wished she could disappear.
What should I do? What should I do?!
Who can tell me what to do now?
Should I just copy Master Cameron and pretend to pass out?
Nathael seized Maggie’s delicate wrist and hoisted her from the sofa, saying, “Ms. Adam, what a coincidence.”
Maggie was momentarily stunned. She gazed up at him with her flushed face, pretending to appear
and drunk.
She blinked while staring at him blankly. “Sir, who are you?”
dazed
Her question caused Nathael to chuckle out of anger. He encircled her slender waist with his arms, drew her close, and whispered in her ear, “I’m so disappointed to see how quickly you change lovers.”
Maggie felt like crying. She should have known better than to pretend to be drunk; she might as well have pretended to pass out!
What a disaster!
“Oh, no… my head is spinning…”
Her cheeks flushed, Maggie furrowed her brows and massaged her temples as her mind raced. D*mn it. What should I do now?
“Sir, perhaps… we can discuss this tomorrow. I’m feeling a bit dizzy at the moment.”
Unfortunately, her self–proclaimed acting skills were insufficient in front of Nathael.
“No. We have to do this tonight. I will ensure your satisfaction, Ms. Adam.” Nathael tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his beautiful eyes/filled with tenderness and danger, as if brewing a storm of destruction.
“Don’t… let’s just forget about it… I’m feeling better all of a sudden. I would hate to trouble you, Mr. Harris.”
Maggie forced out an awkward smile.

“Mr. Harris, you’re akin to a gentleman from a painting, possessing a noble temperament and handsome. appearance. Since I met you, I have been consumed with thoughts of you day and night. Even if I fail to recognize myself, I will certainly recognize you, Mr. Harris.”
Maggie spoke softly, showering him with flattery.
Nathael chuckled coldly. If her acting wasn’t so exaggerated, he might have actually believed her.
In the next moment, Maggie was lifted by Nathael, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck. “Nathael, put me down!”
Nathael shot her a cold glance and said in a deep voice, “Be quiet.”
Maggie bit her lip and didn’t dare to provoke him further.
She felt wronged.
He used his warm fingers to unhook the clothing on her back, releasing the last bit of restraint.
Maggie was terrified. The overwhelming sensation of heat and emptiness spread to her soul, causing her to tremble uncontrollably.
“Nathael, you jrk! You’re such a bully!”
The overwhelming shame tinted her eyes red. She had never felt this vulnerable in front of anyone. before.
Her voice was tinged with a hint of despair as she cried, “Why can’t I look for escorts? I haven’t done anything wrong. It’s consensual. You mean nothing to me. Even my father doesn’t control me; why do you think you have the right to control me?!”
These words pierced Nathael like a thorn.
He chuckled as a burning desire swirled in his eyes. “Say it again.”
Maggie, stubborn as ever, raised her tear–streaked face and yelled, “I’ll say it again! I’ll look for whoever I want. Why do you care, Mr. Harris? Just because I fooled around with you, do you think you have the right
Her words trailed off as she realized the impact of her words.
Nathael had a way of provoking her to the point of losing control!
She bit her lip, understanding that some things were better left unsaid. In her past life, she had been at odds with him for nearly a decade, and certain things were ingrained in her.
Using words as weapons had always been her forte.
Normally, it was fine, but now she was being pushed to her limits by him, which caused her to blurt out those things.
Nevertheless, Maggie had forgotten that, when she had become blind in her past life and people she loved had died, Nathael had shown restraint and kindness towards her. He had grown accustomed to her cutting words without retaliating.
But now, things were different.
Nathael’s eyes darkened, his gaze turning cold as he gripped her chin and sneered, “Really? Fooled around with me? You’re asking why I think I have the right?”
