Chapter 97 It’s Great to Have a Brother

Maggie was taken aback, never expecting Ericko to see things so clearly.

No one knew better than her; they had a bad ending in their past lives, as he had said.

They didn’t do anything wrong, yet they ended up in such a situation.

Ericko kept quiet for a few seconds before he nodded. “True. Do as you wish, but remember, you still have me no matter what happens in the future.”

Ericko’s tone was serious, but his gaze towards her was gentle.

Maggie smiled and nodded, “Okay.”

“By the way. Ronald is planning to enter the jewelry industry, so you must be cautious. Vanessa and Joseph have a complicated relationship. Now that she has the trust of the Adams, she will surely try to steal trade secrets. Instead of driving her away, keeping her and making good use of her is better.”

When he heard that, Ericko couldn’t help but reach out to ruffle Maggie’s hair.

Ericko smiled back. Nothing could be happier than today.

His long–lost sister was standing in front of him, alive and beautiful.

Despite all the hardships she had endured, she remained lively and optimistic.

Ericko was delighted to see that.

He had often wondered for many years if he had been the one who got kidnapped that day; the who would live a pampered life was Maggie.
