"I'm glad you feel that way but don't expect a fairy tale ending. The last person I did this with, got too attached to me and created a big scene. If I find you getting attached, in the slightest way, I'm going to end everything."
I nodded yes as I silenced the butterflies in my stomach and mentally cussed him out. How the hell was I supposed not to fall for you when you're just my type.
Sacha's POV
"How is it possible to not get all up in feelings for him? That dude is finer than baby hair." Remy said when I explained to her about the contract, which was something I shouldn't be doing either but Remy was my best friend.
"I know right. But if I want twelve million dollars, I can't develop any feelings for him. He said if he catches the tiny bit of feelings, he'll end it."
"Then what about after the contract expires. Are you just supposed to pretend like y'all never fucked?"
"I guess so." I answered as I stepped out of Remy's shoes and my dress. I hooked up my hair for bed. Judy was already asleep and it was almost mid-night. I fought a yawn as my phone vibrated on the couch.
"Hello."
"I need you right now."
"Christian, but it's almost mid-night. I'm also getting ready for bed."
"You've read the contract. It said you have to please me whenever."
"Yes, but the contract also stated that no form of encounter would happen until all requirements have been met."
"And what requirements are that, Sacha?"
The way he said my name sent a wave of ripples through me. "The blood test. You need to know that we'e both safe, right?"
I heard him sigh from his end of the phone. "I know, I know, I just couldn't wait to have you and to have you on top of me."
"Christian, there's something I forgot to tell you."
"And what's that?"
"Promise you wouldn't get mad."
"I can't promise something I'm not so sure on because if you tell me something that I should be mad about, chances are I would get mad."
"Well, then, forget it."
"No. go ahead and tell me."
"I'm insecure about my boobs." I covered, which wasn't a lie.
"Why?"
"Because, the left is bigger than the right."
I waited for him to laugh but it never came. "Okay, but that's not something you should be ashamed of. I'm sure they're still cute."
"Small. I have a small, uneven chest."
"I bet they'll fit perfectly into my mouth and that's all that matters right now. Do you wanna have phone sex with me, Sacha?"
"What?"
"Come on."
"Are you a teenager?"
"I'll take what I can get right about now."
"No Christian. No phone sex."
"Yeah, then you expect me not to have any feelings for you." I huffed.
"Is that going to be a problem, because if it is, please tell me right now so I can..."
"It's not going to be a problem. I don't have any feelings for you and I'm not going to have any feelings for you."
He narrowed his eyes on me and I felt the tip of fear forming in the depths of my stomach instead of the butterflies that usually occurs there. At that point, I knew for certain that I wasn't going to have Christian to myself because he was only looking at me as a business deal, nothing more than such.
"Amma go get ready." I said and turned away from him. I gathered myself together in the shower and while I got dressed.
"Can we be back before three? My sister is at school and someone needs to be at home when she gets home."
"Can we pick her up, if that's okay?"
"Okay."
We drove through the city and entered some of the most prestigious boutiques in all of L.A. I never had expensive materials or brand name clothing touch my body before. I couldn't afford it. One dress was more than my paycheck and when Christian told me that I could have it, I was stunned. We went from store to store and my shopping bags got heavier and heavier. I picked up shoes, dresses, tops and pants and body accessories. I felt like I was living the life.
"Oh crap, it's almost time for Judy's school to be out." I said as I watched the timer on the car's dashboard.
"Let's go get her then." Christian said as he drove into the direction I told him to go.
There were awes and stares as Christian pulled up at the school's packing lot. I ran towards the bus Judy should get on. I found her sitting by a window, her eyes popped when she saw me.
"Sis, what are you doing here?"
"Come on, I already got us a ride."
"Christian!" She yelled when she saw him and a dreadful feeling shocked me. I didn't like that she was getting attached to him, because I couldn't get attached to him.
