It turned out that Ellan, Tony, Andrew, and even Bethany were all there. Not only that, but Bethany was surrounded by the three brothers, laughing and enjoying their attention.

It was no longer enough. If she forced herself to bid, she would have to spend all her inheritance and even borrow money. 

Just as she hesitated, Ethan made a gesture, as if he was about to strike a deal, and the entire room erupted in whispers. 

This gesture meant that no matter how high the bid went, he would continue bidding until he won.
