Henry shouted in panic as he ran over. His eyes were filled with horror at the scene before him.

Still shaking from the terror of nearly dying, Julianne trembled uncontrollably when she locked eyes with Noah’s savage gaze. But once he had left, her fear quickly turned into anticipation and excitement..

Because the more Noah lost control from rage, the more it meant Julianne’s earlier words had hit him right where it hurt most. The pain that had made him lose control and nearly kill her would also drive him to madness.
