I was just about to tell someone to drag Regina up and take her downstairs to Henry. I wanted him to see for himself just how healthy the woman he thought was dying really was, and how much of a fool he had been. But she was already awake.

She had been awake for a while, just pretending to be unconscious. Suddenly, she opened her mouth and tried to bite her tongue off to kill herself.

She realized the moment I said that someone with late-stage heart disease could never have survived a kick to the chest, that her entire plan had been exposed. Things would no longer go her way.
