“Ms. Lewis, you look stunning in that dress,” Dominick’s secretary complimented with a smile. 

But Lola wasn’t happy at all. She didn’t want to go to the party with Dominick. 

If someone recognized her and it made the news, it would be a disaster. Just a few days ago, there were rumors about her and Dominick. Any more incidents would be unimaginable.

The secretary noticed Lola’s mood and said gently, “Ms. Lewis, you are so beautiful. You should smile more. You look even better when you smile.” 

Lola stared at herself in the mirror, lost in thought.

If Dominick was treating her this way because of her looks, Lola would rather not have this stunning face. 

“Ms. Lewis, shall we go?” 

Lola said nothing, and the secretary, not wanting to push further, respectfully stepped aside to let Lola pass. 

Lola snapped out of her thoughts and nodded slightly. “Yes, thank you.” 

The assistant opened the door and followed her. 

“Mr. Sinclair, Ms. Lewis is ready,” the secretary announced cheerfully. 

Dominick, who was busy with paperwork, turned to look at Lola. 

He was slightly stunned. It had been a long time since he had seen Lola so dressed up. 

She looked almost like she did on their wedding day. 

The way she looked in her wedding dress had amazed him for a long time. 

It was a pity he hadn’t recognized his feelings back then, so he missed the chance.

“I’m not getting in the car.

“And then the media will report it. Our scandal will come out again, damaging my reputation and my company.” 

Lola gritted her teeth. “I have a fiancé. If Scott sees us together, he’ll be upset. Social events are fine, but please 

take back your order!”

In just two hours, Lola had mentioned Scott repeatedly, making Dominick feel irritated. 

He grabbed Lola’s wrist, pulling her toward him. 

“Hey! Dominick, what are you doing? Let me go!” Lola struggled in panic. 

But she was no match for Dominick. He easily pushed her into the car and then got in himself. 

“Stop it. Our contract clearly states you have to listen to me.” 

Lola tried to open the door, but Dominick pulled her into his arms. 

He leaned in close, whispering in her ear, “Lola, be good. I told you I won’t do anything to harm you.” 

His voice was low, seductive, and dangerous, and his warm breath on her ear made Lola shiver and instinctively pull back. 

“Dominick, even though we have a contract, I hope you can behave yourself and not do anything strange!” 

Lola felt like she was about to break down in just two hours! 

Dominick ignored her protests, leaning in closer with inexplicable actions, making it hard for Lola to cope. 

Dominick was just trying to distract her. Meanwhile, Ryan had already started driving.
