A few days later at Bondie Private Hospital. Ellie had just arrived when she got a message from Alex asking to meet. With a few curt words, Ellie turned him down 

Just days before, in the hospital parking lot, Quinlee had shared some thoughts. Ellie was unsure how much of that Alex might have overheard. 

That evening, Alex had questioned her several times, but she hadn’t admitted to hearing anything. Once Ellie got home, she quickly reported this to Mark and Jason 

At first, she thought Alex’s silence over the next few days meant the issue was forgotten: Then, unexpectedly, he reached out again today, and Ellie had a gut feeling this meeting was likely about Orion 

“Ellie, stop!” Quinlee said, pulling Ellie into an empty exam room. 

“Did you tell Alex that his brother is still alive! Quinler asked with determination. 

Ellie responded, “Did he come to see you?” 

Quinler’s face darkened. Last night, I was kidnapped. They put a bag over my head and took me to a basement, demanding to know if Orion was in Bondie Private Hospital and if he was alive.”

Seeing Orion all alone, Linda moved closer to him. She knew that Orion’s mental scars would take time to heal, but she believed that even a small step forward would bring him a bit of happiness, and she couldn’t just walk away.

Orion reached out to check the height. “Orion, you’re just a bit short” Linda jumped beside him and failed to reach, feeling helpless.

She rushed over furiously to grab Linda, and just as her hand brushed Landa’s clothing. Orion let go, causing Linda to scream and close her eyes. Just when Quinlee thought Orion had dropped Linda, he caught her with one hand and held her in his arms. 

Almost right after that, Orion pushed Quinlee aside, and Linda landed safely on the ground. 

“Um, you two talk: I’ll step out for a moment, Linda said nervously when she saw Quinler glaring with anger, misunderstanding the whole situation. She quickly exited the room. 

Hiding in the fire escape, Linda was breathless, her heart racing. That was scary. She thought that if Quinlee didn’t finish her off, Orion might Thankfully, she was still alive to think about it

Linda broke free from Quinlee’s grip and slapped her back. Quinlee, hokling her face, seethed. “You, a bastard thrown out by the Janssen family, aren’t even worthy of being my maid. How dare you hit me?” 

Quinlee added, “I am Orion’s fiancée, the future Mrs. Warren. You try to compete with me for him?” 

Furious, Quinlee charged at Linda, who, worried things might get worse, turned and ran. A young man appeared from the shadows and hurried away. 

Moments later, Barry entered Alex’s office. “Mr. Warren, we’ve discovered some important information,” Barry announced as Alex paused mid- signature. Chris left the office with the documents, leaving only Alex and Barry inside. 

Harry, barely able to contain his excitement, reported, “Mr. Warren, you were right, all the information confirms your suspicions. If we can find a way into that ward, we’ll uncover the final pieces of the mystery.” 

Barry continued, “However, the doors to the intensive care unit on that level require palm vein recognition to enter; ordinary people can’t get in. but Quinlee, Mark and Ellie can If one of them-
