How could she embarrass me like this? Throwing her tantrums and behaving like a child in front of my employees and painting me in a bad light. Yeah, I had fucked her that night, it didn't mean I wanted her to go blab her mouth to everyone.

Heather wasn't the first one to come to my company and behave like this, the employees on this floor were used to seeing "these types of women" but Emily, she must have thought the worst of me. She must have wondered why I behaved so cold towards Heather. Probably I was the one reading too much in the situation and being paranoid. She didn't have any look on her face that indicated that she was disgusted, but it didn't mean she wasn't thinking it, my subconscious bite back before I shook the thoughts out of my head.

I was starting to lose myself to this woman. Last night she was the one who stopped me from bending that redhead over and fucking her right there in that room. When I had gotten the text from her, it was like it shook me back into reality and made me realize that if I wanted this to work between me and her, I had to really let go of my old lifestyle even though it would be painful. Emily was a lovely person with a caring soul, and I didn't want to hurt her in any way possible.

Getting up, I took up the coffee mug and walked outside of my office, and went down to the kitchen where I gave one of the office services the mug. Walking back to my office, I could feel the eyes of my employees on me and I could hear the hushed whispering, and gossip floating around. Turning towards them, I barked "stop the whispering and glancing around, you're all here to work not gossip and if I hear this come up again I am going to fire everyone on the spot."

The room had gotten deadly quiet which had made me feel pleased with myself. Going back inside my office, I checked the time and saw that it was thirty minutes past nine. I need to get down to work, Heather and her tantrums had thrown me off track. Picking up the office phone, I dialed Emily's line. "Mrs. Martinez, there is a file titled A. Williams could you go get for me, it's in the filing room, the files are arranged in order by the last name." Hanging up the receiver, I waited for her to bring the file. When she did, I told her to sit right in front of me.

Taking the file from her I was looking through it when I saw her fidgeting nervously while she was playing with her fingers. "Is there a problem Miss Martinez?"

"Sir I was wondering if I could get an early lunch? I wanted to check on my mom and also, I have to prepare lunch for her. I can't let what happened the last time happen again."

"Okay, don't worry. We can go to the deli across the street, where you can order lunch and something for your mom and I will drop you home and back to work."

"Sir," she said nervously. "I-I'm not going to eat lunch. I am on a budget and I um––" Holding up my hand, I stopped her in mid-sentence. I understood her financial burden and I could see that she was embarrassed to be telling me this type of personal information. I also could see relief flooding her face when I had stopped her.
