"Vicky didn't elope with me, nor did she shoot you! Just look at her! Look at how frail she's become because of you!" shouted Harvey.

Tyler looked at him condescendingly. "That's funny. Tell me: Just how many bad guys would admit they're the bad guys?"

For some reason, Harvey started fuming after Tyler asked him that. His usually confident expression turned dark.

"Tyler, you—" He only managed to get two words out before Vicky pulled his arm to stop him. She shook her head apologetically at him.

Harvey quickly suppressed his anger when he saw the look in Vicky's eyes. He turned his face away and stayed quiet.

Vicky turned to Tyler. "Let's talk back home."

Tyler seemed a little surprised.

He raised his eyebrow. "Home? You're seriously thinking of going home with me after everything that happened?"

Vicky nodded. She went up to hold Tyler's hand, but he shook her off coldly, causing Vicky's hand to freeze in mid-air.

"Ms. Shaw, we meet again," said Avery with a smirk. She then looped her arms around Tyler's and pressed her body against his before lifting her chin proudly. "I heard everything from Tyler. Not only did you steal Hart Corporation's trade secrets for Harvey, but you also shot Tyler. So, he decided doesn't want you anymore. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm his woman now!"

She pressed her body closer to Tyler's, causing him to frown and subtly pushed her away. The smell of perfume made him want to puke. He even felt physically discomforted, and he wished for nothing more than to keep her as far as possible away from him.

However, he managed to suppress the urge to push her away since Vicky was watching his every move. At that moment, Vicky had turned pale and her eyelashes were trembling. She was obviously in a state of shock and disbelief.
