Vicky looked at him tiredly. "I've told you to stop seeing Avery, so why do you still…"

"Why should I listen to you?" cut in Tyler.

Avery's expression immediately changed. She grabbed Tyler's arm possessively.

"Just how shameless can you be, Vicky? You have no right to say who Tyler gets to see—not when you're cheating on him with Harvey! You're the most shameless woman I've ever met in my life!" she said shrilly.

"That's enough!" Harvey was at the end of his patience. "Tyler, wake up! Vicky didn't elope with me. The reason she's here today is because you're sick! She's been trying to find you a cure all this while. You must be blind if you can't see how thin she's become because of you!"

Tyler smirked. "Are you sure it's because of me? Why do I get the feeling it's because she knew what she was doing was wrong and the guilt and stress must've got to her?"

Harvey was speechless. He could not believe just how out of touch with reality Tyler could be. It took him a while to finally find his voice.

"Avery's right. She's my woman from now on." He looked down condescendingly at Vicky. "As for the divorce papers, I've already signed them.
