Since Aurora was the one who introduced Gilbert to Vicky, she knew he was a good guy.

"Vicky, being in the same agency as him, I can guarantee what the woman said about him having a messy love life and catching him in bed with another woman are all untrue. You've seen the pictures too, right? They were all from their high school days. I'm pretty sure she won't be able to give any recent pictures of them together at all. Plus, all those chat messages are fake.

"But you know what's weird? The moment our agency found out about this, they tried to remove the trending search but never could. In fact, the trending search became even more popular to the point that negative comments and unfounded rumors appeared out of nowhere like tidal waves.

"My manager said there was a high chance Gilbert crossed somebody he couldn't afford to cross for something like this to happen to him. The woman who exposed him could be just a pawn to hurt him."

Vicky's heart sank. "What would happen to Gilbert if this scandal doesn't get cleared up?"

Aurora sighed. "He'll have to quit the entertainment industry along with his endorsement contracts. The worst part is he would've to pay a hefty sum for pulling out of the movie contracts. Basically, it'll be game over for him."

Vicky was speechless.

Aurora thought Vicky was so worried about Gilbert that she could not speak, so she tried to comfort her, "But, our PR team is very experienced when it comes to this kind of matter. I'm pretty sure they'll be able to clear up the allegations since they were all false. The agency wouldn't give up on him that easily since he won the 'Best Actor' award before."

Vicky's lips moved slightly, but she did not say anything. After hanging up the phone, she looked at Tyler, who was casually leaning on the doorway.

"You did this, didn't you?" It was more of a rhetorical question since she was sure he did it. She knew him better than anyone, and this had his fingerprints written all over it.

"I've already warned you to stay away from him," replied Tyler serenely, not denying that he had something to do with the matter.

Only then did Tyler's face soften a little. "If that's the case, it shouldn't be hard for you to stay away from him in the future."

"You have my word."

Tyler's eyebrow went up at how quickly Vicky gave in. He glanced at her and said lightly, "Don't forget to terminate the contract with him."

Vicky frowned. "As I've told you, my relationship with him is purely work-related. You can't possibly expect me to stay away from all guys while I'm working, right?"

"That's exactly what I expect."
