Noticing the lust in Tyler's eyes, Vicky realized she had been talking to Tyler with only a bathrobe tied loosely around her body. She quickly tightened the bathrobe around herself.

"Isn't that a little too late?" Tyler asked as he leaned down to put his lips an inch from her face. "Or have you come up with a new way to seduce me?"

"Tyler, I promise I'll terminate the contract with Gilbert, so please leave right now," said Vicky in a tone that was both ashamed and annoyed.

She did not know when he got into her home, but judging from what he said, it seemed like she came home later than he did. 'Does that mean he was here while I was taking a shower?'

She could not help but shudder at the thought of that.

Tyler ignored her pleadings and looked around the room absent-mindedly. "So your boyfriend doesn't live with you, huh?"

"Tyler, get out of my house this instant!"

"I haven't checked out the other rooms yet, so why don't you give me a tour?"

'What?! Does he think my house is a museum?' thought Vicky angrily. 'Wait a minute… I was going to call the cops before the news about Gilbert distracted me.'

She glanced at Tyler before unlocking her phone to call 911.

Knowing what she was about to do, Tyler did not stop her. In fact, he remained unfazed.

As soon as Vicky unlocked her phone, more news headlines jumped out at her.

[XX Perfume announced the company had terminated their contract with Gilbert.]

[XX Dealership announced the company had terminated their contract with Gilbert.]

[XX Fashion announced the company had terminated their contract with Gilbert.]

Vicky balled her hands into fists.

"Besides…" His deep melodious voice sounded in her ear again. "You won't be wearing the bathrobe much longer, so why bother?"

Vicky looked at him in disbelief.

"Why do you look so shocked?" he asked with a smirk. "Do you really think I've only come here to hang out?"

Vicky closed her eyes for a second to compose herself before finally showing him around the apartment.

The apartment was around 3,000 square feet and had everything one would need to live comfortably. She had a study room, a walk-in wardrobe, a mini gym, a movie theater, and much more.

There really was not much to see, yet it took them more than 30 minutes to finish touring the whole apartment.
