 She could have explained it with just a phone call. Did this man have too much free time? He purposely came over… “I just happened to be around the area,” Duke answered coldly, and his expression was full of dissatisfaction.

Adina pursed her lips.

Flint scoffed. “There are billions of people queuing up to discuss a collaboration with our Addy. Who the heck are you? How dare you question why Addy stood you up. She can stand you up whenever she wants. It’s her right. Do you have the right to question her—” “Shut up!” Adina yelled at him.

Flint swallowed the words that he was about to utter. “Addy, you yelled at me…” he said sadly. As he spoke, he even grabbed Adina’s sleeve and swung it.
