||Zayaan's POV||
"I can help you to answer your question about the baby, Zayaan. I know who is the father,"
My blood was boiling, slowly in anger but I was trying to control it.
"You."
.........
I felt myself breathing heavily and becoming numb. I clenched the phone tightly in my hand and hung up quickly before he uttered anything.
I threw the phone in the backseat and started driving at full speed. I couldn't understand what was happening around me after I heard what he told me.
I stopped the car in front of the house and clenched the steering wheel tightly.
"Go to the house," I told Mishal, coldly and in anger.
This anger wasn't directed towards her, instead it was all for myself. I didn't want to hurt her and damage her more than I had already done.
When she got out of the car, I drove away from the house in anger and let my mind run away everywhere. I drove to the warehouse in anger and stomped inside my office.
My emotions were everywhere and my heart was beating weakly and I felt a part of me died inside me. My hands shivered as I opened the drawer and pulled out the paternity test reports.
I stared at them blankly and slowly opened it. I felt my world shattered when I saw the reports and my heart stopped beating.

I fisted my hand and punched on the desk in anger. I couldn't think straight other than her who was not with me right now but still around me. My heart wasn't able to think straight when she was in my mind and in every beat of my heart.
I should have known when I made the decision to marry her that I couldn't control my growing feelings for her.
Three weeks.
Three weeks have passed since I saw her last time. Ever since the call, I didn't have any guts inside me to face her after knowing the truth. Before I wasn't the one who became a coward so easily but ever since she entered my life the single thought or glimpse of her made me weak and to bow down in front of her.
My phone beeped which pulled me out of her thoughts. I sighed and picked my phone from the table and saw a message from amma bi.
Amma bi: I am so tired of you, Zayaan. Stop ignoring your beautiful wife who you love dearly and how long you will hide your feelings from her and shield them from the world when anyone can clearly see it. NOW LISTEN ME CAREFULLY! I am taking her with me to my friend's granddaughter's wedding and you have to also come. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSE FROM YOU!
I could feel her anger from her text and I knew I could not say no to her at any cost nor could I let Mishal go anywhere without me when I knew Wasir was roaming freely. I quickly got up without thinking and picked my car keys.
I drove to the venue where the wedding took place, in full speed. I parked my car in the parking area and quickly got out of it. I unlocked it and walked inside the hotel. I felt few people's eyes on me but I ignored them and their whispering and looked for the girl who was ruling on my heart.
I spotted her in the crowd, she was sitting close to the stage and was looking flawlessly beautiful. I didn't think the beauty could describe how beautiful she looked. I didn't know what spell she put on me but deep inside I was loving it.
Her eyes caught mine and the life of her eyes were returning back. The glow on her face didn't go unnoticed by me when she looked at me. I didn't move my eyes away from her when amma bi came and stood beside me excitedly.
"Zayaan and Mishal, why don't you both stand beside each other? I want to take a picture of you," One of amma bi's friends said to us.
When I nor Mishal made a move towards each other, because I was lost in her beauty, amma bi went to Mishal and gently made her to stand beside me. They made me put my arm around her and took our pictures then they made me to my arm around her waist.
"I think that's enough," I told them, sternly because she was affecting me slowly and making my heart to get out of my control.
With my arm around her waist, I felt so peaceful but I didn't let my guard down and let my feelings win. We were standing so comfortably and enjoying each other's presence Mr. Malik, bride's father, came and welcomed me. He went to call his daughter's in-laws for introducing them to me with a pleased grin on his face.
"Mr. And Mrs. Zayaan Khan, meet my daughter's in-laws. Ahwab Shah and his wife. Parents of Numan Shah, my daughter's husband," He introduced an old couple who was none other than Mishal's parents.
My eyes were filled with anger for them but I quickly controlled it when Mishal stepped close to me. When her brother came from the stage and stood in front of us, amma bi asked them if they knew each other. I put my hand on Mishal's back softly and let her know I was here for supporting her and for fighting her parents for her.
"She is...," Her father trailed off because he didn't know how to complete this sentence.
It angered me to know how her father was reacting and glaring at my wife with icy cold glare.
"My sister," Numan said looking at Mishal with a big smile.
Her father's eyes filled with hate when Numan called her sister. I was feeling myself shaking in anger and rage and I was ready to kill that man, her father or not but he surely had a death wish.
I felt Mishal placed her soft and delicate hand on my arm which made me look at her quickly. My cold and hard eyes met with innocent eyes which held fear. She shook her head slowly and mouthed 'please don't'.
Her beautiful and flawless face was now pale and held tiredness. I quickly pulled her with me and made her sit on the couch. How could I forget standing wasn't good for her this long. I turned to the others and looked at them sharply.
"We will talk about it later," I told them and fisted my both hands tightly.
How that man, who happened to be Mishal's father, pulled his wife roughly didn't go unnoticed by anyone and it increased the fire inside me.
The whole function passed quickly and the whole time I noticed how Mishal's eyes searched for her mother. I could see the battle and desire inside her eyes to hug her mother. The whole time I fisted my hands to stop myself from creating a scenario.
I glanced at Mishal as I drove us back home. The frown on her face was telling me that she was disturbed and controlling her tears. I was glad to have amma bi at that time with us. If she wasn't there then I would have done something to Mishal's father.
When we reached home, she didn't notice it and looked so lost in her thoughts. Amma bi got out of the car to give us privacy and went inside the house.
"Mishal?" I called her which pulled her out of her thoughts.
