||Third Person's POV||
The boots hitting the dirty ground were echoing in the basement along with the cry and groans in pain.
"How does it feel to be captured by me?" Zayaan asked the groaning man and chuckled darkly.
The groaning man who was none other than Wasir was in bad shape. Most of his body parts were missing, his face was black and blue, there was a disgusting purplish blue mark around his neck from the shock collar and he was laying on the dirty ground limply.
"Ki-ll.. me..," He tried to speak but ended up coughing his blood out of his mouth.
"This is how you will die. Slowly and slowly. Every breath you take, you will beg for your death but it will never come to you. The only thing that will come to you was more tortures," Zayaan said, picking him by his neck then hitting his head with the ground, earning a painful groan from him.
Zayaan looked at him last time in anger before looking up at Asad and Hashim, his most trusted men.
"What do you think we will do with his body once he dies?" Zayaan asked them with a dark smirk.
"Boss, I am thinking of cutting his body into many pieces then throwing each piece in front of wild animals," Asad gave him a suggestion with a dangerous smile.
Wasir looked at Asad then at Zayaan in fear and shook in terror. He tried to get up but his body was numb and he didn't have any energy.
Zayaan looked from Asad to Wasir in amusement and chuckled darkly at his useless struggle to get up from the ground.
"Boss?" Hashim called Zayaan while looking up from his phone, "Amma messaged me to tell you that she is waiting for you," Hashim informed him.
Zayaan looked at him and nodded his head before looking back at Wasir with a smirk. He turned around to walk out of the basement and looked back at them from his shoulder and said,
"Have fun but make sure to keep him alive!"

Zayaan entered the house and went to the living hall where he heard amma bi talking to Mishal. He entered the living hall and greeted both ladies and kissed their foreheads.
"Glad to see you are home early," Amma bi told him with a hint of sarcasm.
Zayaan looked at amma bi with a smile and sat beside Mishal. But nonetheless, amma bi smiled at both of them. It had been four months since that incident and now everything was going back to normal. With the help of amma bi and Zayaan, Mishal was coming to life again.
"Now you kids better go and enjoy your time together," Amma bi ordered them before going back to her room.
Zayaan stood up and took Mishal's hand and they both walked out of the house to his car. Amma bi had arranged a special date for then to enjoy. Both were sitting in silence in the car.
"Zayaan?" Mishal called him, softly breaking the silence.
Zayaan shifted his eyes from road to Mishal with a hum then back at road.
"Thank you for giving me space," She looked at him with a smile and twinkle in her eyes, "And not leaving me alone four months before when I asked you."
Zayaan grabbed her hand and laced their hands together and kissed on the back of her hand before placing them on his thigh.
"I promised you, Mishal, remember! I will never leave you. Not in this world and hereafter," Zayaan reminded her of his promise.
"Now it's time for you to enjoy your life freely and without any stress and problem," He told her softly and glanced at her with a smile.
He had promised himself that he would do anything to make her enjoy her life freely and joyfully. Her happiness was his first priority.

Zayaan's eyes shone with happiness and love when he looked at his wife who was scolding him for not telling her that today he was going to be busy. He wasn't listening to her but just standing there and ogling at her.
"I think I am talking to a wall not a human," Mishal mumbled in anger and glared at him before walking away from him in anger.
Zayaan quickly snapped out and looked at her back and thought for what she was scolding him because he hadn't listened to one word other than his name coming from her lips. He rubbed his face then it drew to him today as he had so much work to do and he hadn't told her about it.
He shook his head because according to him today wasn't any special day other than his birthday and he hadn't informed her but what he didn't know was, Mishal knew it and for her it was a special day.
Mishal kept herself busy in kitchen baking cake for Zayaan. Once the cake was baked and done, she picked it with a knife and put it on the table in the dining hall with candles. She remembered she had once bought a gift for Zayaan but never got a chance to give him.
She sneaked in their room and looked around for Zayaan but didn't see him. She sighed in relief and quickly went inside the wardrobe and took the gift from the drawer.
She went back to the dinning hall and thought about what to call Zayaan in the dining hall. She thought of a plan then quickly turned the lights off and screamed loudly.
"ZAYAAN!!"
Zayaan was in his office canceling all his work and thinking about how to make Mishal talk to him since he angered her when, suddenly, he heard her screaming.
All the negative thoughts of something happened to her running in his mind and he quickly ran out of his office. Looking and calling for Mishal but the lights of the hall were off.
When he entered the dining hall in panic, Mishal lit the candles and sang happy birthday.
"Happy Birthday, Zayaan!" She wished him, happily.
Zayaan looked at her and sighed in relief and relaxed. He shook his head at her with one side of his lips curled up. He almost had a heart attack because of her. He walked to her and put his one hand on her waist and moved her hair from her face with another.
"Thank you but don't ever do this again, love. I almost had a heart attack," He whispered and kissed on her forehead.
"But you love this surprise, don't you?" She asked him with a ‘You better love it or else’ look.
"Of course I love it and especially you," Zayaan told her with a smile.
"This is what I thought," She told him and patted his chest before telling him to cut the cake.
He cut the cake and fed a small piece of cake with his hand. She fed him back and put the cream of cake on his cheeks.
"I hate this," He mumbled when she put the cream on but didn't stop her.
She handed him his gift and told him to open it.
"You don't have to give me a gift when you have given me one thing which I always wanted and desired," He told her, softly and kissed her hand.
"Which is?" She asked him with a knowing smile played on her lips.
"Your heart," He told her, looking into her eyes.
His words never missed a chance making her blushed and her heart flattered. The best thing about him was he kept his distance from her and gave her enough space to let her adjust around him again.
"I will make sure to wear it everyday," He whispered, pulling her out of her thoughts.
Mishal looked at him who was staring at the watch which she gifted him. It was a black color watch and on the back a message was engraved on it.
Zayaan read the heart touching message and looked up at her with a smile and quickly wrapped his arms around her tightly.
"Thank you so much," He thanked her and kissed her head.
Zayaan pulled from the hug and looked at her with a big smile.
