Playing it up, Jimmy pretended to take a closer look at Selena, then theatrically slapped his forehead, “Oh, Mrs. Bennett does look a bit familiar... Right, it hit me! Selena sneered, seeing right through him. He was using his drunkenness as an excuse and blamed her for walking into the wrong room. That was just vile.

Jimmy thought he might be onto something, a glimmer of smugness in his eyes. It seemed like Mr. Bennett didn’t really care about his wife. Maybe it was just his bruised ego. No guy liked to be made a fool of.
