Selena couldn't help but close her eyes.

In the next moment, the sound of Jimmy’s mouth being silenced was followed by the unmistakable thud of fists meeting flesh. She couldn't see it happening, but her hearing sharpened, and she could almost picture every punch Everett threw at Jimmy.
