After Joy left, Abraham and Levi stepped out from the dim corner of the hallway.

Levi leaned in, speaking softly, "Mr. Abraham, should I step in and handle this?"

It was obvious that Ms. Joy was letting jealousy cloud her judgment. If things went south, Mr. Abraham might get dragged into the mess. They were all part of the Kesler International family—one person's success was everyone's success, and a downfall could pull everyone down with it.

Abraham's dark eyes flicked over to Levi without showing much emotion, making Levi's heart do a nervous flip. He quickly looked down, knowing better than to push the issue.

Abraham lit a cigarette, taking his time with each puff. He did have a thing for Selena—smart, beautiful, and with a lingering allure from their past. He was curious to see if she was as enchanting as he imagined.

With his current status, women usually flocked to him with just a nod. Of course, he treated his mistresses well, making sure they weren't left wanting. He kept in good shape and was known for his generosity, never skimping on money or resources.

As long as they didn’t start expecting more than they should, he was happy to keep things pleasant. Lately, he figured Selena must have picked up on his interest, but she seemed completely clueless. Her resistance only fueled his desire to win her over.

Still, his patience was wearing thin. Spotting her at the jewelry show that day, she looked like the most exquisite rose, tempting him to just reach out and take her.

After finishing his cigarette, Abraham turned to Levi and whispered a few directives.
