Devon’s face drained of all color. 

If Duke really went to the Aquila family, he would surely be punished. 

The Langley family wore odd expressions.

He turned around to leave but came face to face with the Hell Guard. 

“Dustin, what are you trying to do?! Just try and hurt me, I dare you!” Devon stared at Dustin fearlessly. 

He was a member of the Aquila family and had a high social standing. Dustin would surely not cross the line. 

Dustin said nothing, but the Hell Guard understood what he wanted. He picked Devon up like he weighed nothing.

Dustin scoffed. 

“I’ll only say this once. Simone is the only one in the entire world who’ll get to decide who she wants to marry,‘ he said icily. “I won’t forgive anyone who tries to force her to marry someone against her will!” 

The lethal edge in his voice left everyone in shock. 

“Who exactly do you think you are, Devon? You’re unworthy to even think of Simone, let alone marry her,” said Dustin icily. “Consider this a warning. If you dare to harass her again, you won’t leave Rivenesco alive!”
