Bianca stood by the window inside a lavish hotel suite. Her delicate face was twisted in rage. 

A disheveled Lewis knelt before her, with a swollen face stained with blood. His teeth had been knocked out, and he managed to stammer out his tale of humiliation and suffering at the West family villa. He recounted Dustin’s blatant insolence and ruthlessness. 

“Miss Bianca, Dustin…” he said and wheezed through the gaps between his teeth. “He doesn’t respect you! He doesn’t respect anyone! People like him won’t learn their place unless you crush them!” 

Bianca narrowed her eyes with a chilling ferocity. “Oh Dustin, so you refuse the easy way out and insist on challenging me? Fine! Do you think the world revolves around you? Do you think no one can bring you down? Let me show you there’s always someone stronger than you in this world.” 

She had hoped to threaten Dustin into surrendering the guards using the damning evidence. But his indifference showed her that he was not afraid to gamble his life away. 

She slipped into her coat and strode out of the suite. She was determined to find someone capable of destroying him. 

Soon, she arrived at the Cain family villa in Somerton. 

“I’m Bianca Winter. I wish to seek an audience with Mr. Victor Cain. Would you please let him know at his earliest convenience?” she said politely to the gatekeeper. 

The servant walked into the villa to relay her message. He returned very soon. “Miss Winter, Mr. Cain has agreed to see you.” 

• Bianca went into the villa and met Victor, the national hero. 

Victor was an elderly man with a sharp gaze. He was dressed in a crisp suit and radiated the calm confidence of someone accustomed to commanding respect. It made his presence impossible to ignore. 

“Miss Winter, to what do I owe the honor of your visit?” Victor asked with a smile on his face. 

“Mr. Cain,” said Bianca with utmost respect, “I’ve come to pay my respects and seek justice. You are an esteemed figure in the martial arts world of Lannopolis…” 

She looked righteous and indignant. 

“Lucas Wyatt, the head of the Wyatt family in Rivenesco, once adopted a boy–Dustin Fox. He was later disowned for his ungrateful and treacherous behavior. However, instead of repenting, he came to Lannopolis and committed unspeakable atrocities! I urged him to turn himself in. Not only did he refuse, but he also assaulted my men and threatened to silence me if I didn’t hand over the evidence!” She handed over a video showing the annihilation of the Aquila family to Victor. 

Victor’s face darkened as he watched it. With a thunderous slap on the table, he declared, “Outrageous! How dare he commit such a slaughter in Lannopolis and still flaunt his arrogance?
