Shawna nodded when she saw him. She told him not to let any random person into the company and then left.

Nothing much happened that afternoon.

In the evening, a group of people marched in domineeringly.

Dustin’s eyes narrowed.

They did not look like nice people. They were led by an arrogant youth as they rushed over to the company.

“People are here to make trouble already?” Dustin grabbed his baton and left the security booth. He blocked the front entrance to the company.

“Oh?”

The youth, who led the group, looked at him icily when he saw that Dustin was blocking his way.

“Who do you think you are to stand in my way? Get lost!”

Dustin did not move. His face darkened.

“Shawna Welch, pay back what you owe! If you don’t, I’ll destroy this little company of yours!” the young man shouted.

Soon, Shawna came out.

“What do you want, Patrick Harmon?” she yelled huffily. She walked in front of Dustin and gestured for him to step back.

“You can’t deal with this guy. Stand back a little,” she whispered.

Dustin could not help but frown.

He was a security guard here. How could he allow his boss to protect him instead?

“Miss Shawna, I can help you deal with whatever happens here,” he said with a smile.

Shawna glared at him in annoyance.

“What makes you think you can handle it? Do you have such an ability?”

Dustin was struck dumb.

“Haha! He’s just a security guard, but he sure has a mouth on him. Shawna, is this the person you found to help you?” Patrick laughed disdainfully.

“Hey, punk! Wanna bet if I can kill you with just one move?” he asked threateningly.

Dustin’s gaze turned sharp.

Was Patrick threatening him?

Dustin was going to intervene in this issue for sure.

“He’s the son of the Harmon family of Grayvale. You can’t afford to offend him,” Shawna said softly. She pulled Dustin aside. In doing so, she did not notice Dustin’s face turn darker.

“Patrick, it was the Harmon family who messed with the contract and extorted us of a huge compensation. You should consider yourselves lucky that I’m not suing you. How dare you come here for money? Not a chance!” Shawna said furiously.

“Don’t make things up, Shawna,” Patrick said mockingly.

“What kind of game are you playing?” Patrick was disdainful. He took his men and walked away with Dustin.

Shawna watched as they walked away and frowned even more deeply.

“Call the police. Call for an ambulance too,” she told an employee.

In a corner, Dustin turned to face Patrick and his men.

“Hey, dumb security guard, what sense do you want to talk into me?” Patrick asked mockingly as he took a knife from one of his lackey’s hands.

“You’re the son of the Harmon family of Grayvale? The top family in Grayvale?” Dustin asked slowly.

“That’s right. What? Are you scared?” Patrick smirked.

“No… This is good,” Dustin said indifferently.

He suddenly turned around.

A blade swished, and there was the smell of blood.

Patrick’s head thumped onto the floor. The shock was still evident on his face.

He did not even know what had happened before he dropped dead.

He had died cluelessly.

The others watched in shock. When they came back to themselves, they were terrified.
