Dustin put his key into the lock.

Inside the apartment, Kendall tensed. He gave the goons by the door a meaningful look to tell them to stay ready.

The two goons by the door were big and brawny. Neither of them was someone to be messed with. Kendall believed that Dustin, with his small build, would be easily apprehended the moment he walked through the door.

There was a creak as the door opened.

Dustin slowly swung the door open and stepped into the apartment.

Immediately, he saw Patricia tied up and with a panicked look on her face.

He also saw Kendall standing at the side, looking all pleased.

“Get him!” Kendall ordered.

The two brawny goons by the door jumped out and pounced on Dustin viciously.

Looking unaffected, Dustin ignored the goons and side-stepped his two attackers. The goons missed him completely.

The two goons looked stunned.

With a crash, they sprawled out on the floor. They landed so hard that it felt like the floor shook with several quakes.

Kendall was taken aback as well.

He did not see Dustin move very clearly. He only got the sense of Dustin shifting like a shadow and suddenly moving out of the grip of his goons.

He thought that his eyes must have been blurry and that he was seeing things wrongly.

“What are you two laying there for? Get him on the floor!” Kendall roared as he rubbed his eyes.

The goons’ expressions turned vicious as they got up and rushed at Dustin again.

One of the goons clenched a hammy fist and struck it at Dustin’s head.

The other tried to kick Dustin’s midsection.

The goons were using all their strength. They might be able to hit Dustin so hard with one strike that Dustin would be paralyzed, and his spine might just break.

Even Patricia was worried about Dustin. Yet, she could not move or say anything.

Even at a critical moment, Dustin seemed very relaxed.

It was only until the goons’ attacks nearly landed that he moved a little.

None of the people in the apartment even saw him move. They only thought that he swayed a little.

“Get him! What are you scared of? He’s just one person!” Kendall yelled angrily. “I’ll give whoever catches him 500 thousand dollars!”

At the mention of the money, the henchmen wavered.

As they gripped their long knives, their expressions turned vicious.

“Let’s go for it! There’s no way he’s invincible!”

Swayed by the temptation of money, the other henchmen went at Dustin at the same time. Their blades flashed.

The six of them went at Dustin from all sides and locked him in. Dustin had nowhere to escape.

Considering the situation, any normal person would think that Dustin was done for. Yet, he maintained his cool from start to finish, and his expression never shifted.

He put out one hand and daintily waved it like he was drawing a circle in the air.

There was a tinkling crash as the henchmen’s blades shattered and fell into pieces on the floor.

This stunned everyone, and the henchmen looked at Dustin with fear in their eyes.

They had not even seen Dustin move clearly. However, they suddenly felt some pressure, followed by great pain.

Screams rang out as the six henchmen flew in different directions. They landed on the floor and groaned some more.
