My Big Bad Alpha novel Chapter 5

Quinn POV

I left Terrance's office after we discussed brief plans and details about the rouge attacks.

He said they attack every few days, so that means they might strike again probably tomorrow or the day after.

On my walk, through the hallway to my room, I noticed a lot of the members running towards the door to outside but I paid it no big mind.

Not my pack.

I'm not here to mind that business.

"Rouge attack might be tomorrow or day after, stay alert." I linked to my sister and my fighters.

"Quinn, you should come see this. They're about to kill some dumb broad who assaulted the Alpha's daughter." Nikolai linked to me and I rolled my eyes.

"It's none of my business. Have fun watching." I replied and cut him off.

I had made my way up to my room and kicked off my shoes by the door.

Removing my shirt, a thought occurred to me.

Someone assaulted the Alpha's daughter... Wait..

"Rose." I called to her through our private link and she answered immediately.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know what Terrance's daughter looks like?"

"Yeah. She's here at the execution. Dumb bitch says she was assaulted but I don't see a scratch on her." Rose snorted.

I shut my eyes and prayed my assumptions were wrong.

"Rose....send me a mental image of who their going to kill."

"Okay."

I waited a few moments.

A few agonizing moments before she sent me the mental image.

On the stage stood 5 males, the young girl who hit on me and .....

"SHIT."

I stormed out of my room and down to the forest, where the execution was being held. Using my Alpha speed, didn't even seem to get me there fast enough.

I won't let them kill my mate.

I need her...

".......charged with assault to her Alpha's daughter, her future Alpha. As demanded by Alpha Terrance, her death shall be slow and painful. Death by beating."

I heard a male voice read out her charges as I neared closer to the area.

A whoosh sound filled my ears, just before the screams of my mate filled them. Her heart breaking scream almost brought me down to my knees, I could feel it. Not strongly since we weren't mated but just a little and even that hurt me.

"Quinny! What are you doing here?" My sister screamed to me but I ignored her and shoved right through the people, to help my mate.

Another ear piercing scream filled the air, only then did I realize what they were doing to her.

They were whipping her with a whip laced with silver.

"STOP."

The male that was hitting froze with his hand in the air as he about to give her another lash.
