My Big Bad Alpha novel Chapter 6

Rayne POV

I forced my eyes to open as quickly as I could and shot up from the bed I was laying in it.

Looking around the room, I immediately noticed this wasn't my room.

I flexed my arms, and then looked at myself in a long mirror in the room.

I'm okay.

I had no bruises cuts or anything on me.

Then I remembered what happened.

My mate saved me and this other guy took me to the pack doctor.

My felt felt flushed.

My mate saved me.

I took a breath and tried to get my nerves back to normal, but it only filled me shock.

This entire room stunk of Quinn.

That could only mean...

Behind me I heard a door open, which made me jump slightly.

I turned around slowly to see Quinn coming out of the bathroom. His towel devilishly low showing off his perfect 'V', completely exposing to me his chiseled by God himself abs which had droplets of water on them.

It took alot of willpower to not jump him right there and then, so I reluctantly adverted my eyes.

"Good, you're awake. Doc said you should take these." He said to me as he took two small capsules from the night stand and gave it to me along with a glass of water.

"Thanks.." I mumbled as I mentally cursed myself for sounding so weak.

I threw the capsules in my mouth then gulp down some water and handed him back the glass.

He nodded then turned and dug around in his drawer.

I watched the movements his back made as he moved his arms and I swear to God, he better give me patience because if he gives me strength....Lord knows.

A few moments of oogling later, Quinn turned to face me.

"Wait here." He said then he disappeared into the bathroom with a pair of pants and a T-shirt in hand.

What I would give to see him change in front of m- Wait. What am I doing?

Snap out of it Rayne, he could reject you at any minute.

He obviously does care...if it isn't much, there is something in there or he wouldn't have had me sleep in his room or made sure I took the pills.

Right?

The bedroom door shot open, making me squeal and jump.

Quinn rushed out of the bathroom and scanned the room with his now black eyes.

As soon as his eyes landed on the guy standing there he relaxed.

"What do you want Nikolai?"

The guy nodded his head to me in respect before answering.

"Alpha Dickhead wants to see you."

I giggled at the name he gave my Alpha.

Quinn looked at me and the guy, who's name was apparently Nikolai did the same. My mate had a small smirk on his face but then he quickly changed back to a serious face then faced Nikolai.

They were quiet, so I guessed they were talking through mind link, leaving me to feel awkward and intrusive.

I glanced at Quinn, who was only wearing jeans.

How the hell didn't I notice that!?

I licked my lips and looked around the room, in an extremely weak attempt to calm my yet again, hectic nerves.

Suddenly I heard the door close and I looked to see Nikolai was now gone and Quinn was leaning against the drawer, with his arms crossed over his chest staring at me.

"What?" I asked and he shook his head.
