"So, he and not the parents were running with the mafia?"

"It doesn't say mafia specifically but he was involved with someone. Anyway, he was off the

grid for a few years afterwards and re-appeared in Moscow seven years later. Started as a

home appliances salesman and then expanded into import/export only three years later. Today

he has stores in Russia, of course, France, Spain, England, Italy, China and a few others, selling

home appliances as in the beginning but also deals with home decor. He works with everything

related to a home as well as designing it for you then building and decorating it too. Shipping all

over the world."

"Busy guy."

"Busy and wealthy. Never married before Lyra but their marriage got registered when she was

18 meaning he knows people. Greg is none other than a very famous lawyer with many heavy

names under his belt. Has his own law firm with around 23 employees, 5 of them also well

known, 3 on the way up the ladder. Recruiting them fresh from school. His own school not to

forget."

Jaze kept on sharing his findings while Lydoran tried to make sense of everything he heard. A

man who came from nothing and got kicked out at the age 12 disappears for years but then

comes back as a store owner. Expands within three years and then keeps on expanding until he

has an empire worth million. Friends with a big shot lawyer.

"What else do we know about this Greg person?" Lydoran asks.

"58 years old, married twice but divorced both. No kids. Comes from a long line of wealth.

Probably inbred all of them. "Jaze snickers while looking at the papers. "Father was a doctor

and mother stay at home wife. Has two younger sisters but after their father’s death 10 or so

years back they stopped talking. Inheritance was evenly shared between daughters and wife

while the sole son was left out of the will. Doesn't say why though. Mother died three years ago

from heart failure. Siblings whereabouts today are unknown. He moved here to Italy 8 years

ago and never left."

"Doesn't all this seem a little off?" Lydoran voices is doubts.

"Greg does not seem like a normal and nice person but he has no record. Both divorces handled

nice and clean."

"His own firm?"
