Chapter 323 Guilty And Embarrassed

Rosalie brought Lucian and Nox to have lunch. She then bought two sets of clothes for them before bringing them home.

Lisa had prepared dinner for them.

Rosalie brought them to the dining table and made them sit down. Lisa asked them what they did today. Both the children told her everything. The atmosphere was rather joyous.

They had just started eating for a while when Rosalie suddenly noticed that Nox was eating exceptionally slowly today. “Nox, what’s wrong? Did you have too much during lunch today? Is that why you can’t eat anymore?”

After hearing what Rosalie said, Lisa and Lucian looked at Nox.

Nox was clutching at his stomach with one of his hands under the table, and he was using his other hand to eat slowly. His face was pale. He looked rather uncomfortable.

Lucian was extremely worried when he noticed his younger brother in such a condition. “Mommy, it looks like Nox isn’t feeling well.”

Rosalie put down her utensils, got up, and walked over to Nox.

Nox did not force himself to eat when he noticed that his mommy was coming over. He placed both of his hands under the table to clutch at his stomach, and his face crumpled in pain.

“What’s wrong? Do you have a stomachache?”

Rosalie grabbed Nox’s wrist with a heavy expression on her face. She wanted to know if he was not feeling well.

Nox nodded forcefully. Just as Rosalie grabbed onto his wrist, he jumped down from his chair with an unpleasant expression across his face and ran to the toilet.

Rosalie got up and looked at Lucian worriedly. “Are you feeling unwell?”

Lucian shook his head after thinking about his own condition once again.

Lisa looked in the direction of the toilet worriedly. She turned around and glanced at the dishes. “That can’t be. There shouldn’t be any problems with the dishes tonight.”

Rosalie smiled at Lisa comfortingly and said, “The dishes are alright. I think he might’ve caught a cold while he was swimming this afternoon. Or perhaps he got food poisoning from the food he had during lunch.”

Lisa nodded slightly and calmed down. However, there was a look of pity on her face.

After speaking, she asked Lisa to prepare thick coats for both children, she then fetched them to the hospital.
