"I told you I am not going to the par-" Andrea broke off mid-sentence and Lance watched as Andrea's face grew pale as if she'd seen a ghost.

"Lance," she breathed out after recovering.

Right after his Aunt Holly started talking about Andrea, Lance realized one thing: He need to clarify a lot of things with Andrea, once and for all, "Andrea, I believe we've got things to talk about," he said, giving Andrea a stern look.

Andrea looked at Lance as if he just spoke in a foreign language for a while, but after her brain picked up, she understood what he was saying.

"Come in," she widened the door and let Lance pass closing the door behind him.

Every time Lance had ever been to Andrea's condo, it had always been clean and bright, but as he walked towards her living room, he noticed that the usually open curtains are closed, and the living room lights are dimmed.

"Sorry 'bout that, let me just..." she trailed off as the lights in the living room flickered to life, making Lance involuntarily blink his eyes in sudden blindness.

"Sorry again," Andrea said, awkwardly and as Lance adjusted, he noticed Andrea moving to the kitchen, probably fetching him coffee.

He sat himself on her white couch and remained silent, not even letting his eyes stray towards Andrea. He heard her approach, yet he made no move of even recognizing her presence and he did not even mumbled a thank you as she placed the cup on top of her coffee table. He remained silent, as if he was not there at all. Not that he wanted Andrea to suffer from his lack of speech and response, he just doesn't know what his next move is.

But luckily for him, Andrea made the decision.
