Andrea opened the door to Lance, and he heard his heart fasten its pace.
"Sorry, heavy traffic," he said.
He would have been at Andrea's condo earlier if it weren't for the little accident blocking the streets. He looked at Andrea and noticed her green eyes glazed and her expression weird though it stirred desire inside of him and he felt his pants tighten.
Andrea swallowed, the movement sending hotness to his lower half.
"Hey, is that your... Hey, Lance," he recognized Holden's voice behind Andrea and quickly looked at him.
Andrea stepped aside and let Lance enter.
Lance furrowed his brows, "Hey Holden, what are you doing here?"
Holden smiled and waved his wallet mid-air, "Forgot to take it from her yesterday, what about you?" asked Holden.
Lance looked around and noticed Andrea gone, "Family stuffs," he said, shrugging to make it look casual.
Holden nodded, "Oh, then I guess I got to go," he said, with a hint of embarrassment on his tone.
"Don't you want to say goodbye to Andrea?" asked Lance, confused of the way Holden was acting.
"Just tell her I've got immediate business to attend to. Bye," Holden walked out of the condo, leaving Lance by himself on the living room.
He sat on the couch and breathe deeply in and out. After several beats, Andrea emerged from the direction of her room and suddenly made eye contact with Lance.
"Let's eat before the food get colder," she smiled at him and he watched as she walked towards her kitchen with her mini pleat skirt flapping her mid thighs and followed her.
They ate in silence, a very awkward one, and they didn't even look at each other.
"I'll do the dishes," Andrea stood up as she finished her meal.
"No, I'll do it," Lance offered, already expecting Andrea to argue but she didn't and made her way to her couch.
