She shook her head and looked at Alena.

"Alright, let's go first"

"I'll send you guys out,’ Anika said.

"No need, you still have some work to do"

Nataly suddenly stopped her footsteps, looked at Zac not far away, and then turned around to leave with Alena.

She was well aware that Anika had always made quick decisions.

There were still few things she had to figure out on her own.

As she watched Nataly and Alena leave, Anika's thoughts were immersed in Nataly's abrupt comments that it took her a while to regain her senses.

His face fell as he looked at Anika's calm eyes.

"I know you don't want to see me, but you can contact Connor if you need assistance with anything.Don't...carry it on your own all the time."

His eyes were warm, and his voice faded.

It had been a long time since he had seen Anika.
