"Persuade him?"

‘‘Didn't the two cats next door lose their temper? Why did he care so much?’’ Anika wondered and was somewhat puzzled.

She paused for a moment before asking, "Then, how should I coax him?"

Zac turned his head to look at her, his calm eyes filled with confusion.

He pulled the corner of his mouth and said, "Why don't you think about it?"

Facing his gaze, Anika pondered silently for a while and finally came up with something.

‘Could it be that he was talking about himself? But ...Why was he unhappy?’ She asked herself.

He averted his sight and remained silent.

He was still in a bad mood.

She stared at him with uncertainty and pondered for a long time.

She then sighed and said, "Zac."

His gaze dimmed.

Anika walked to his side and sat down.

After exchanging glances with him for a few seconds, she tried to stretch out her hand while he was dumbfounded.

She hugged him gently.

He didn't like to use perfume, and his body only smelled fresh from the body wash.

It smelled very good.

Her head was buried in his arms.

She couldn't see his expression in her position, but she could feel his stiffness.

She smiled and then softened her voice, "Is this considered persuading? Are you still angry?"

After a while, he remained calm and looked down at her in his arms.

His furrowed brows had vanished, and he began to soft.

He stroked her back as if he was comforting a kid.

Even yet, it made his previously gloomy attitude...not so awful.

"Anika, you want to take advantage of me just like that?"

He laughed nonchalantly.

She lowered her tone and replied, "Still this is a privilege I offer you."

She lifted her head to look at him, and her gaze drawn to his smiling eyes.

He had already returned to his usual appearance.

Although her tone remained proud, a tinge of sweetness rushed through her heart unexpectedly.

If he had always been so simple to persuade, then consoling him didn't seem so hard to take.

She stood up and smiled at him.

"Why were you angry just now?" She said warmly.

"Nothing." He raised his eyebrows.

When she noticed this, she frowned slightly and argued, "You always say that you want me to vent my emotions. Then, why are you so stubborn right now?"

"I won't hold back.I didn't let you uncover your feelings, did I?"

He pursed his lower lips and smiled as he rubbed her hair.

Anika groaned hopelessly, her brows slightly curled and just said, "But I don't know if you will be angry next time"

He twisted his lips and crossed his arms.

"Will my temper be bad as long as you're not doing anything wrong?"

He was quite pleased with himself when it came to his own temper.

Because of his overconfident demeanor, Anika became speechless and just thought, ‘Thank God, we're at home and he still knew how to restrain himself outside‘

Anika shifted the topic after noticing that his odd feelings had subsided, "Are you busy next week?"
