Zac had always tried to get her out of her misery in the past, she suddenly remembered.
"What's going on, Nika? Why aren't you trying harder today?"
LZ differed from other schools.
To save time, most students would eat lunch and take a nap at school.
In the second year of high school, her grades weren't that good.
Sometimes, she would be sad because of her grades and not go to the cafeteria for lunch because she was in a foul mood.
Zac would bring a meal back to the classroom and casually say, "I don't want to eat anymore. You can eat it.You don't have to trouble me if you faint from hunger.” Anika could not describe Zac's current mood, unlike when she suddenly found out Zac had liked her for a long time.
Instead, she realized he hid his thoughts in the details of those long days.
When he received his love letter, he was angry.
He ran away at his father's wedding for her disappearance.
He sensed her depression and tried to make her happy in a clumsy and stinky way.
Grayson had expected him to take the class, but it was not his dream.
During the year, she taught him supplementary lessons.
However, his eyes went dark all day.
He wished to attend the same university as she.
He even pursued the thief in search of a bracelet.
She did not know.
Zac had liked her for so long that he didn't know what was best for her.
Anika once hoped to get the greatest favor.
Though this was a very self-serving thought.
Anika seemed to have only these kinds of feelings that burdened her for so long.
"Why are you crying?" he asked.
Zac frowned and gently wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes.
He stared at her red misty eyes and lowered down his tone.
Anika shook her head and said nothing.
Then, in desperation she circled her arm's the man’s neck and kissed him.
Zac was stunned for a moment by Anika’s rare eagerness.
Then he slowly tightened his arms and did his best to control himself as he and Anika continued to kiss.
After a long time, Zac said in a hoarse voice, "Is it over?"
Anika nodded slightly.
‘Well, in that case’’ his deep eyes surged, looking deeper than the night outside the window.
‘Anika, I’m going to open the present now”
A passionate kiss followed, and the tip of his smooth tongue wrapped around her mouth.
The kiss made Anika feel that oxygen was running out of her body, and desire clouded her mind.
Zac had already carried her into the bedroom and pressed her down when she regained consciousness.
In the room's darkness, heat rose in their bodies as they slowly took off each other's clothes.
Zac's slim fingers rubbed against the thin skin behind Anika’s ears.
Zac's small stubble even touched Anika’s chin.
At one point, he couldn't help but tremble as the desire consumed him, despite his low and muffled voice.
When it was over, Anika felt completely powerless and settled herself in his arms.
Zac hugged her from behind, removing the hair on her cheek and tucking it behind her ear.
His slender fingers twisted a strand of hair, and satisfaction filled his voice.
"This bedroom is not soundproofed." Zac suddenly said.
"Huh?" Anika had yet to react.
Then she heard his low, smiling voice.
"So, you want to move to the master bedroom?"
There was a pause.
"Alright."
She pursed her lips and nodded gently.
With that, Anika turned around, hugged him, and buried her face in the Zac’s embrace.
Anika enjoyed the quiet and solitary moment right now compared to the intense atmosphere earlier.
Zac smoothed her hair and kissed her on the forehead.
He raised his eyebrows and asked, "What? Are you unhappy again?"
"Zac, I met Demi today.’’ She told him.
"Huh?"
Zac asked She tightened her arms around him and whispered.
"I didn’t know you that were the one who carried me out of the equipment room."
Zac sighed, "Why are you crying?"
"I never thought I'd regret this feeling, but now I do.I’m feeling a little guilt"
Anika felt regret for the first time.
She admired him for having gone through so much with just this feeling.
Zac smiled and said, "What a pity.Do you remember how you stabbed me in the past?"
‘‘How I stabbed him?’’ Anika wondered.
Anika reflected on it.
She was also a little nosy.
Then she remembered something and pursed her lips.
"Oh right, I’m going to JH for a business trip at the end of the month."
"How long?"
"One week" Zac frowned.
Anika then explained, "I considered it wasn't too far away, so I'd go to X County as well."
It had been a long time since she had returned to the orphanage.
She wanted to take this business trip to X County to see the children and visit the headmaster’s tomb.
When Zac heard this, he paused for a moment before casually nodding, "Yes, I understand."
Anika invited Tony and Leo over for dinner before leaving for JH on business.
Originally, she had also called Deon and Finn, but Tony informed her that Deon had recently gone to his hometown.
Finn had taken over Deon’s job and it required to work overtime, so he couldn’t come over.
Anika was unconcerned about the possibilities for the future.
She had asked Tony and Leo about their preferences ahead of time.
She got up early on the weekend and diligently prepared for food.
The doorbell rang shortly before twelve o'clock.
Zac got up from the sofa in the living room and walked to the door to open it.
Tony and Leo stood in front of the door and handed him the present they were holding.
"You're welcome, Zac,’’ they said generously.
This villa had always been deserted.
When Zac married and moved in, he did not invite anyone to be his guest.
Anika had invited them today.
However, this was their first visit, so they could consider it a greenhouse.
Zac expressionlessly accepted the gift and whispered, "Come in."
After the two entered the entrance and changed their slippers, Leo glanced at Zac and impolitely asked, "What's wrong? You don't want us here?"
Zac chuckled and said nothing.
He finally had a typical husband-and-wife relationship with his wife.
But last night, Anika explained that there was a visitor at their house today, so she needed to get up early to prepare and he should not cause her problems.
Zac tried to delay Anika until the end.
But she threw a quilt at him to let him sleep with her in his arms.
‘‘Welcome? It would be strange if he could welcome him!’’ Zac thought.
However, just as Zac was about to finish, he noticed Anika walking out of the kitchen wearing an apron and looking at them.
As a result, he pursed his lips and said, "You're welcome.Food is almost ready.Go to the kitchen and sit down."
